Manchester United transfer target Erling Braut Haaland is set to arrive in Manchester today ahead of a proposed January transfer, MySportDab reports.
MySportDab understands 19-year-old alongside his father Alf-Inge boarded a Norwegian Airlines flight at Sola and are expected to arrive in the UK today.
According to Norwegian Newspaper Aftenbladet, Haaland left Austria on Friday morning and will arrive at the Manchester Airport.
Manchester United are looking to sign the teenage sensation ahead of offers from RB Leipzig, Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made all the efforts possible to sign his fellow countryman and still flew to the country just last week for talks.
Solksjaer is now set to speak to the teenager in person again to convince him that United is the best club for him to progress in his career.
Erling Braut Haaland has scored 28 goals so far this campaign with eight goals in the Champions League group stages to be the most demanded player in Europe’s top five leagues.
Speaking this week, Solskjaer confirmed his interest in signing Haaland and said: “He is the type of player I like. We are looking to sign and top players all the time.
“Haaland has developed well but still needs to develop further at the next club he chooses to join. I don’t plan to talk much about him but we are a team in new of additions in some positions.”
United’s hopes of landing Haaland may be boosted by their and Solskjaer’s relationships with his representatives.
Super Agent Mino Raiola is now doing the negotiations for a potential January deal and United are used to doing business with him.
Haaland is expected to slot immediately into Solskjaer’s first team, alongside Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in attack.
