PSG have already had talks with Atletico Madrid over a potential transfer for the striker.
MySportDab can confirm that Atletico’s chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin and PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi have already met to discuss the transfer.
But, Atletico’s initial bid for Cavani was rejected immediately.
