Arsenal have officially announced the signing of defender Cédric Soares on loan from Southampton until June, MySportDab reports.
Soares is Arsenal’s second signing this January after the Gunners completed also signed defender Pablo Mari on loan from Flamengo this week.
The 28 year-old joins the North London club from Southampton, where he played over 100 matches for the club since 2015.
Cedric started his football career at Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon and developing through the youth ranks before making his first team debut in the Portuguese league aged 19.

MySportDab understands He played at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and was also in the Portugal squad that won Euro 2016.
During his playing career, Soares has also played on loans at Academica in Portugal and Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A.
Arsenal Technical director Edu said: “Cedric is a defender with quality experience of the Premier League and also at international level.
“He is a new strong addition to our defensive team who will provide our squad with more strength and quality. I know he plays with absolute full commitment and energy.”
