Erling Haaland was all happy as he arrived for his first day at Borussia Dortmund after sealing his transfer move, MySportDab reports.
Borrusia Dortmund posted a clip of Haaland on its official Instagram account and he is seen entering the club’s new training centre in Brackel, a part of Dortmund.
The 19-year-old then exchanged a few words with Dortmund Coach Lucien Favre, before entering one of the physical activity training.
Haaland then faced the camera and said: ‘Freue mich’ (I’m happy) before ending the clip with a bid smile and a thumbs up.
Haaland chose to join Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg for £17million despite offers from Manchester United, RB Leipzig but the Red Devils were reluctant to meet the demands of his representatives.
After 28 goals in 22 matches for Salzburg, Haaland has officially joined the Bundesliga side and did sign a contract to stay at the club until 2024.
The Dortmund’s training complex Haaland arrived at is also host to their academy base Hohenbuschei, and the club’s official TV channel BVB total!
Borrusia Dortmund are currently now on a winter break, but are already preparing for the second half of the Bundesliga at a Marbella training camp in Spain.
They will still play three club friendlies against Belgian club Standard Liege, Dutch giant Feyenoord and fellow Bundesliga club Mainz throughout next week.
Coach Favre will then decide on his starting XI he will use when Dortmund travel to play Augsburg when the German Bundesliga resumes.
