Striker Moussa Dembele has finally responded to rumours of him leaving Lyon this January transfer window, MySportDab reports.
The 23-year-old has scored 13 goals in 28 matches for the French club this season.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United are in hunt for a new striker, while has led to speculations over £40million-rated Dembele’s future at Lyon.
But Speaking after Lyon reached the French League Cup final, Dembele confirmed he wants to stay at the club.
‘I am a Lyon player and will remain so until the end of this campaign,’ Dembele told reporters.
‘I don’t think I will move this winter. There are lots of talks right now. It is my choice to ignore them and remain focused on the pitch.’
MySportDab understands Dembele scored as Lyon drew 2-2 against Lille in their semi-final clash before winning on penalties.
PSG play in the other semi-final today away at Stade Reims.
However, Manchester United are still in search for a new striker after Marcus Rashford was ruled out for three months due to a back injury.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have relied mostly on Tammy Abraham so far this season while Olivier Giroud is set to quit the London club and join Inter Milan this January window.
Lyon are currently seventh on the French Ligue 1 table, three points behind fourth-placed Nantes.
