Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp Provides Sadio Mane Injury Update After 2-1 Win!

Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp provided an update on Sadio Mane’s injury in the 2-1 win over Wolves in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

The German manager confirmed that Mane had tweaked a muscle and was taken off to avoid further damage.
Liverpool were made to work very hard by Wolves for the win despite Jordan Henderson scoring early on from a Trent Alexander-Arnold corner.
MySportDab understands Wolves star Raul Jimenez equalised for the home side in the 2nd half minute and Nuno Espirito Santo’s team had chances to win the game.
Roberto Firmino finished the game off though as he scored with just six minutes left to give Liverpool all three points.

However, Klopp is hoping Mane’s injury is not as serious as first feared.

He said: “Sadio, it’s sad he had to go off. Hopefully it’s not too serious, just a muscle tweak but we will know more tomorrow.”
Klopp was also delighted with the win and hailed Roberto Firmino as a ‘genius’ for his winning goal.
He said: “It was a big one. Nuno is doing a great job. They are a very different team because they use the width of the pitch.
“We did very well but if you chase Adama Traore outside, he goes inside, so then you have to deal with crosses and also deal with Raul Jimenez!
“They scored a goal and then the next 10 minutes was wild. We were able to get back control after then which is important.
“The chances we had were great. We had at least four or five times in a one-on-one with the goalkeeper so if we scored more it would have been good also.”
