Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an injury updates on his team ahead of tomorrow’s game, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils will be hoping to end Liverpool’s 38-game unbeaten run in the competition on Sunday.
Liverpool have won 20 of their 21 matches this season, with United the only side to play a draw against the Reds this season.
But Jurgen Klopp’s team are huge favourites to best their rivals on Sunday.
And Liverpool might just have a new boost as Solskjaer has confirmed that he still has defensive inquires to worry about.
“Tuanzebe had a setback but he’s working towards full fitness,” Solskjaer said.
“Bailly and Fosu-Mensah are back and available.
“Shaw was back training on Friday and we shall see how he is.
“He’s been ill and he’s had some issues. Dalot is fully back and Rojo is still not ready.
“He had a bad calf injury and that has taken longer than we expected.”
MySportDab understands Brandon Williams will start at left-back for United in place of the injured Shaw.
Solskjaer also provided an update on striker Marcus Rashford on Friday.
The Norwegian expects Rashford to miss the Liverpool match with a back injury.
Rashford went down during United’s FA Cup win over Wolves during the week and was taken off clutching his back in pain.
“I won’t hold my breath,” Solskjaer said.
“I think he might not be ready.
“We’re going to give him all the time to find out.”
United’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool earlier in the season should be some form of confidence heading into Anfield on Sunday.
However, Liverpool want to win for their first English league titles in 30 years and are now 11 wins away from equalling Arsenal’s 49-game unbeaten record.
