Tottenham have agreed a £27million deal to sign PSV forward Steven Bergwijn, MySportDab reports.
Spurs will pay the Dutch club £25.4m upfront for the 22-year-old with another £1.6m in add-ons.
Coach Jose Mourinho has moved to strengthen his squad after Spurs also decided to sell midfielder Christian Eriksen to Inter Milan.
Eriksen arrived in Italy on Monday and completed his medical ahead of a transfer to Antonio Conte’s team.
MySportDab understands talks for Bergwijn continued over the weekend after Bergwijn was left out of PSV’s squad for their 1-1 draw vs Twente, having been allowed to travel to London to complete his transfer.
Spurs’ New signing will be a great addition upfront for Jose Mourinho’s team as Bergwijn can play anywhere in attacking positions and also being very versatile.
There were talks about signing last time but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement due to PSV’s valuation of the player last summer.
Bergwijn scored 31 goals with 41 assists in 149 games for PSV since joining the PSV senior team in 2015.
He will now become Spurs’ second signing of this January transfer window after midfielder Gedson Fernandes signed earlier this month.
