Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has provided an update on his injury, after limping off in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal, MySportDab reports.
The young Striker was seen being carried off after the match.
Chelsea went ahead twice against the Gunners at Stamford Bridge but still got only one point on Tuesday.
Ten-men Arsenal equalised twice after David Luiz was sent off in the first half.
The Blues imagined they’d snatched the win after Cesar Azpilicueta’s goal in the 80th minute.
But Hector Bellerin scored a last gasp equaliser as he curled in from the edge of the box.
And Chelsea’s evening got even worse as Abraham went down injured after colliding with an advertising board.
Fans feared as their first-choice striker held his ankle in agony, Tammy has 13 goals in 23 Premier League matches so far this season.
MySportDab understands he still managed to continue and finish the game, but after the match, he was carried off by members of Chelsea’s medical staff.
Hours later, Abraham took to Twitter to provide fans an update, hoping the injury isn’t too bad.
“Not the result we wanted but we have to keep going & fighting,” he wrote.
“Thanks for the messages & support. Hopefully my injury isn’t too serious.”
Arsenal refused kick the ball out of play when Abraham was down injured which made many Chelsea fans angry.
But when the Blues regained possession, they also refused to play the ball out with Tammy still down.
