“We Can Turn It Around, Ask PSG” – Man Utd Coach Solksjaer After 3-1 City Loss

Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has challenged his players to show they can overturn the 3-1 defeat last night against Manchester City, MySportDab reports.

In the first leg of the semi-final, City thrashed United 3-1 at Old Trafford with a stunning performance.
However, the Norwegian Manager is confident his players can turn the game around, exactly how they did against PSG at Paris in the Champions League Last 16 last season.
MySportDab can recall the Red Devils had lost 2-0 at home but completed a shocking comeback at the Parc des Princes and won the match 3-1.
“After their first goal and most especially the second we failed to stop them,” Solksjaer said.
“A good second half reaction, but first half before they scored it was back and forth. We failed to cope with the setback.
“We failed to deal with their system well enough, we know they have the quality to play that way. They showed that exact quality last season and thrashed Chelsea 5-0.
“First goal nothing we could do, second is definitely sloppy and the third we just failed to recover.
“With Matic and his experience in the second half, he showed us his presence. It was demanding for the ball and believing, finding the right pass. We needed someone to take responsibility.
“We’ve shown our offensive power before when we lost a home leg turned it around. PSG is very simple example and we have to trust ourselves to put in that performance.
“It was bad late decision late on who could play, there was no excuse. We only have the players available. We always have to put a team out there, hoping to get a good result.”
City started their riot through Bernardo Silva who scored a shocking left-footed striker from outside the penalty area in the 17th minute.
In the first half, Riyad Mahrez made it 2-0 before Andreas Pereira scored a poor own goal that sent City into the break with a stunning lead.
United were far better in the second half and a goal from Marcus Rashford has kept them in the clash ahead of the second leg at the Ethiad.
