Erling Haaland scored his seventh goal in three games for Borussia Dortmund while Jadon Sancho also found the back of the net as BVB thrashed Union Berlin 5-0 on Saturday, MySportDab reports.

Dortmund started the game with full confidence but it was Union Berlin who fired the first warning shot when Christopher Trimmel’s cross from the left evaded everyone and narrowly bounced wide of the post.
MySportDab can confirm Dortmund continued to attack with purpose and were deservedly rewarded when Sancho cut in from the left and scored to make it 1-0 with a deflected shot.
Not long after, BVB continued to pressure their opponents and Haaland scored the 2nd goal with a tap in at the back post from Julian Brandt’s cross.
The hosts remained in control throughout the first half, although Union could have pulled one back shortly before half-time when Kevin Schlotterbeck missed a glorious chance from Trimmel’s free-kick.
It proved costly although Union were at first improved in the 2nd half with Marius Bülter going close to pulling a goal back but Dortmund’s attacking power in the final third was just too strong.

Marco Reus made it 3-0 from the penalty spot after Rafal Gikiewicz fouled Haaland in the box, before Axel Witsel scored with a close-range finish from Sancho’s cut-back.
Haaland then set a new Bundesliga record after scoring his 2nd from Julian Brandt’s back-heel and has become the first player in history to score seven goals in his first three Bundesliga games as Dortmund secured all three points with a 5-0 win.
Borussia Dortmund 5-0 Union Berlin:

Goals: 1-0 Jadon Sancho (13′), 2-0 Erling Haaland (18′), 3-0 Marco Reus (penalty. 68′), 4-0 Alex Witsel (70′), 5-0 Erling Haaland (76′)
Match Stats:

– Sancho is now the youngest player in Bundesliga history to reach 25 goals.
– Sancho has now scored 11 goals in his last 11 competitive matches for BVB, and has 12 Bundesliga goals so far this season.
Haaland, starting his debut Bundesliga game, scored his seventh league goal in just three games. Nobody has ever achieved that in the Bundesliga’s history.
