Manchester United Legend Wayne Rooney marked his 500th appearance in English League football with a stunning Panenka penalty goal against Fulham for Derby in the Championship, MySportDab reports.
Derby started the game brightly but failed to score as the game went into halftime at 0-0.
However, everything changed when Derby were awarded a penalty after Tim Ream handball in the area.
Rooney then came up to take the penalty, much to the delight of Derby fans.
And Rooney scored the penalty in style as he chipped it straight down the middle over the goalkeeper before he celebrated with his team-mates.
MySportDab understands Wayne Rooney joined Derby County earlier this season after his MLS career with DC United.
And now United fans have gone crazy over their hero’s penalty against Fulham.
A fan wrote: “Go Rooney!!”
Another said: “Rooney scoring with style, legendary.”
Another fan added: “Best penalty goal of all-time, Wayne Rooney never disappoints.”
”A fourth supporter wrote: “Paneka penalties are risky business aren’t they? Fair from Rooney.”
