Manchester United play next today against Wolves in the Premier League after an hectic January transfer window, MySportDab reports.
Bruno Fernandes will be hoping to make his first appearance for United today since completing his transfer a few days ago.
The Portuguese star sealed a £67.6m deal from Sporting Lisbon on Thursday before undergoing his first training session with his new team-mates.
Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also confirmed yesterday that Fernandes will be part of the squad, although MySportDab is unsure if the Norwegian will hand him his first start.
Speaking on Friday at his pre-match press conference, Solskjaer said: “He’s fit to play and he’ll definitely play some part.
“He’ll be in the matchday squad. Let’s finish training and see how it goes.
“He’s had a few hectic days and even with his little daughter’s birthday yesterday, so I’m not sure how involved he will be in the squad.”
Nemanja Matic received a Red Card during the Carabao Cup 2nd leg against Manchester City so the Serbian is suspended for today’s match with Wolves.
Meanwhile, Pogba and McTominay are still out due to injury so Solskjaer has limited players in central midfield.
MySportDab understands Fred is likely to start again today and the Brazilian could be joined by Andreas Pereira, with his compatriot playing play a deeper role.
Manchester United have used a 3-5-2 formation in recent weeks, involving Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial starting upfront.
