Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has attracted plenty of interest from top European clubs ahead of the summer transfer window, MySportDab reports.
The Nigerian sensation Samuel Chukwueze is on the radar of three Premier League team.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all interested in a bid for the Nigeria international at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has impressed for Villarreal since his senior debut in September 2018, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists in 64 appearances.
Villarreal are still reluctant to lose their most prized asset and have slapped a huge price tag on his head in an effort to scare off club.
According to the Daily Mail, The Spanish club value Chukwueze at £60m and would only sell the player for that price, nothing less, which would also represent their record sale by some margin.
MySportDab understands that in the January transfer window, Liverpool had a £30million offer rejected by Villarreal.
Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp is well attracted to Chukwueze because of his ability to cut in from the right.
Chukwueze grew up as a big fan of former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben, who he shares similar attributes with.
“Robben is the king, for me,” Chukwueze told Goal.
“He’s a perfect player. I have watched so many YouTube videos of him, and there are many things I have learned from watching him.
“Just before games, even now, I will still stick to watching clips of Robben and watch his goals, his dribbling. He’s my legend, one of the greatest.
“I love to be me, and of course you have to be yourself, but you need to learn from quality people like him. What a player!”
Liverpool are likely to sign more attacking sensed players in the summer, despite boasting of the most fearsome attacking trio in world football.
Klopp will need a new forward because Xherdan Shaqiri is more likely to leave at the end of the campaign in search of more playing time.
Also, Chelsea would need additional firepower on the wings because of concerns over Pedro and Willian’s future.
However, Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola is likely to rebuild his squad after a disappointing Premier League title chase this season.
He might also lose Leroy Sane amid serious interest from German club Bayern Munich.
