Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has shared the first photo of his baby girl Eda after his wife Amine Gülşe gave birth on Monday, MySportDab reports.

The Arsenal player shared a lovely black and white photo on his social media account, where he is pictured with his daughter while kissing the forehead of his wife, Amine Gulse.

Ozil and his family are currently in lockdown as part of the Coronavirus guidelines and the couple were very delighted that daughter Eda was ‘born in a healthy way’.

On Instagram, Ozil wrote:  ‘Thank God our baby girl ‘Eda’ was born healthy. God giving us the ability to be a good son to his environment and humanity.’

Ozil Wife

Football star Ozil and wife Amine Gülşe got married in Turkey in 2019 and are now parents for the first time.

There were moments of panic during Gulse’s pregnancy due to the fact that she was only three months pregnant when herself, Ozil and Arsenal player Sead Kolasinac were attacked by armed robbers in London.

Arsenal Stars Lacazette, Aubameyang, Mustafi and Kolasinac were among top players to send their best wishes to Ozil’s family.

While Eda is a massive change in Ozil’s life, his future at Arsenal remains unclear due to his poor performances.

Ozil’s agent Erkut Sogut made it clear that the player is very happy at the Emirates Stadium but ‘you can never predict’ what can happen in the future.

Ozil Future At Arsenal?

‘You never know,’ Sogut told Goal.

‘Firstly, you can’t predict the movement of players.

‘I have said this before and I am saying again that Ozil is very happy here at Arsenal. He still has a contract and there is no change. We will see what happens when the contract expires but for now, there is nothing to say.’
