CoronaVirus: Fans Banned From PSG vs Borussia Dortmund Champions League Clash!

Champions League last-16 matches will have no fans at the stadiums after it was confirmed PSG vs Borussia Dortmund would be played behind closed doors, MySportDab reports.


The Champions League last-16 game between PSG and Borussia Dortmund will be played behind closed doors.
The Paris police force on Monday released a statement confirming the disruption to the crucial knockout match.
The two teams face off at the Parc des Princes in the 2nd leg of their Champions League epic on Wednesday (8pm) but there will be no fans in attendance.
Dortmund are currently ahead with a 2-1 lead from the first leg in Germany.
Paris Police Prefecture’s statement read: “In security measures announced by the defense council last night, the Prefect of Police has decided that the match PSG vs BVB will take place behind closed doors.”
A statement from PSG wrote: “Paris Saint-Germain notes the decision of the Paris Police to hold the Paris Saint-Germain vs Borussia Dortmund match behind closed doors on Wednesday 11 March.”
This is not the first Champions League last-16 game to be affected by the CoronaVirus outbreak across the world.
MySportDab reports Valencia’s match against Atalanta at the Mestalla Stadium tonight (8pm) will also take place behind closed doors.
Meanwhile in Spain, Barcelona’s match against Napoli on March 18 is likely to also be played behind closed doors.
Juventus’ game against Lyon on March 17 is expected to kick off without fans at the Allianz Stadium due to the Italian government stating that all sport be played behind closed doors until 3 April.
However, In nextweek’s fixtures, Liverpool Vs Atletico Madrid, RB Leipzig Vs Tottenham, Manchester City Vs Real Madrid are scheduled to go ahead with fans in both home stadiums.
