Chelsea Striker Tammy Abraham has dismissed reports that he has demanded to be the club’s highest earner on over £180,000 per week, MySportDab reports.
Abraham who is now Chelsea’s first choice striker this season with Frank Lampard after he scored 13 goals in 25 Premier League games.
However, Abraham has rejected the latest contract offer from Chelsea.
MySportDab understands the England striker wants a new salary which matches all of Chelsea’s top earners before signing a new long-term future to the club.
Abraham has expressed a number of first-team players sign new contract at Stamford Bridge, most especially Callum Hudson-Odoi, who signed a five-year contract in September 2019 worth estimated £180,000 per week.
But According to The Telegraph recently, Abraham has not demanded more than £180,000 per week or to become Chelsea’s highest earner.
Now, The 22-year-old has backed up this report after a Chelsea fan shared Telegraph’s story on Instagram.
Tammy replied and wrote: ‘Finally some real news’.
Abraham has so far enjoyed a successful breakthrough season at Chelsea after returning from loan at Aston Villa in the summer.
However, a recent ankle problem derailed his performances, which allowed Olivier Giroud to claim the spot as Lampard’s main striker at Stamford Bridge.
