“Follow WHO Advice” – Cristiano Ronaldo Sends Message To Fans On CoronaVirus!

Cristiano Ronaldo has sent out a message to all those affected by the coronavirus as the Portuguese star remain at his mansion in Madeira, MySportDab reports.

There were concerns that the forward may have been infected with the disease after team-mate Daniele Rugani tested positive.

The Italian Football Federation has now suspended the Serie A until at least April 3 after a government decree.

MySportDab understands there are now many doubts that this season will be completed, with Italy the worst affected country in Europe as the virus escalates.

Juventus defeated Inter Milan 2-0 behind closed doors on Sunday, but the Turin club are now on lockdown after their defender Daniele Rugani was confirmed to have contracted the COVID-19 virus.

The Italian centre-back was also part of the dressing room celebrations after the win, causing fears that he may spread it amongst his team-mates.

Juventus Star Paulo Dybala has since denied reports that he has contracted the virus.

Now Ronaldo has issued a statement on the virus issue, advising fans to follow the advice of the World Health Organisation.

“We are all going through a very difficult moment which demands every care and attention form all of us,” he wrote.

“I am speaking to you today not as a footballer, but as a father, son, a human being concerned with the latest happenings that is affecting the whole world.

“It is important we follow the advice of WHO (World Health Organisation) and the governing agencies on how we handle this situation.

“Protecting all human lives must come above any other thing.

“I’m using this medium to send my thoughts to everyone who has lost anyone close to them, my solidarity to all those fighting the virus, like my teammate Daniele Rugani, and my support to the amazing health professional who are risking their lives to help save others. Cristiano Ronaldo.”
