Hakim Ziyech reportedly wishes to talk Chelsea into a move for Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The Blues wrapped up a deal in February to sign Ziyech from Ajax in the summer for £37million (Independent) and the proficient attacking midfielder has remained with the Dutch giants for the rest of this season before his swap to Stamford Bridge.
According to the Daily Mail, Ziyech wants to persuade Frank Lampard’s side into a go for his Ajax teammate Onana and he’s close pals with the goalkeeper.
It is understood that Onana is open to a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea or London opponents Tottenham his desired destination.
The report explains that any deal would value between £40-50million and the Blues do want to sign a new shot-stopper in advance of subsequent season, however it’s Spanish club Barcelona that are mentioned with the genuine interest in him at present.
Ziyech is set to be an extraordinarily addition to the squad subsequent season and there is no doubt that he’s no longer the only player in the Ajax team that could succeed in the Premier League.
