Confirmed Manchester United Squad – MySportDab
Manchester City travel to face rivals Manchester United At Old Trafford today in a highly anticipated match, MySportDab reports.
United are currently unbeaten in their last nine matches and kick-off against City on Sunday after Chelsea play Everton at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are still three points ahead of United after dropping two points at Bournemouth last week, while Tottenham Hotspur played a 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been included in the Manchester United squad for the Manchester derby but Harry Maguire and Daniel James were not among the players at The Lowry Hotel.
Wan-Bissaka was not part of the squad that won 3-0 against in the FA Cup fifth round stroll due to a back injury.
Daniel James missed his second match running with a knock, and Maguire sustained an ankle injury in training which means he’s out today.
MySportDab understands Maguire has started for Manchester United every Premier League match this season and if he misses his first then Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof are likely to play in Defence.
Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba are still out but Pogba is expected back in full training next week.
However, Manchester City head to United unbeaten in their last four league matches at Old Trafford, while United have only two wins in the last 10 derbies.
Solskjaer’s side have won twice at the Etihad this season and the United manager suggested he could bring up a tactical surprise.
