Jadon Sancho has been revealed as the most valuable player born in the 2000s, worth a shocking £184million, MySportDab reports.
According to The CIES Football Observatory, Sancho is ranked as the most valuable youngsters in world football.
His team-mate Erling Haaland is second at £94million, which is barely half Sancho’s current value.
Real Madrid stars Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi make up the top five.
Valencia starlet Ferran Torres is in sixth, while Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga places seventh.
Manchester United star Mason Greenwood, Manchester City youngster Phil Foden and Everton strike Moise Kean make up the top 10.
Other Premier League players in the top 20 include Norwich defender Max Aarons in 14th and Tottenham wing back Ryan Sessegnon in 16th.
Arsenal defender William Saliba currently on loan at St-Etienne in France, sits 20th.
Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli missed out on the top 20 despite his stunning start to life at the Emirates.
Camavinga is currently the youngest player in the top 10 as he won’t turn 18 until November.
Barcelona Sensation Ansu Fati also born in 2002 is now 12th on the list.
MySportDab understands the CIES study takes into account different variables including age, international status, contracts and career progress.
The CIES study only focused on Europe’s top five major leagues which are England, Germany, Spain, France and Italy.
CIES analysed over 1,000 transfers since 2012 till January 2020 to present their news findings.
The study is great news for Borussia Dortmund as their two most-prized players Jadon Sancho and Haaland top the list and the Bundesliga club can now command a large fee should clubs start a bidding war in the summer.
Juventus are one of the clubs interested in signing Jadon Sancho but won’t enter into a bidding war for the player.
The 19-year-old is a highly valueable player, with many European clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United interested in signing the winger.
