Manchester United are very determined to sign Winger Jadon Sancho in the summer transfer window, but Borussia Dortmund are not ready to sell, MySportDab reports.
Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke has insisted that Jadon Sancho is very happy at the club and that the Bundesliga club have enough money.
The 19-year-old has impressed everyone over in Germany, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists from 22 league matches.
On Tuesday, Reports suggested that Manchester United are confident of signing Sancho in the summer.
The 19-year-old has Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s transfer target for a long time, with the Norwegian hoping to sign the player last summer.
The transfer failed to happen but United remain interested and would love to sign the teenager this year.
According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils have offered Sancho a good wage of £200,000-a-week so he can sign for them.
But Dortmund chief Watzke has hit out at such reports and saying that the Bundesliga club can keep their most important players.
Speaking about Sancho, He told BBC Sport: “I think he understands that the club does have a good future.
“In my opinion, he doesn’t want to leave.”
And Watzke believes money won’t is not a possible for a transfer deal between the two clubs.
“It’s not about the money,” he added.
“For us, it would be best if he stays at Borussia Dortmund.
“We have the money. We want to win titles. I think this team has a lot of potential with Jadon than without Sancho.”
