Arsenal Ready To Offer 18-yr Old Bukayo Saka ‘Significant Pay Rise’ In New Contract!

Arsenal are ready to offer youngster Bukayo Saka a significant pay rise in his new contract despite the coronavirus crisis, MySportDab reports.

After a disagreement between the players and the club, Arsenal have now offered players to take a 12.5 per cent pay cut due to lost revenue caused by the current pandemic.

However, According to The Athletic, 18-year-old Saka will earn a large salary far from his current £5,000-a-week wages when he signs a new contract.

MySportDab understands the winger has also impressed playing in left-back this season and has been a positive part of a season for the Gunners.

And Saka looks set to extend his contract that was due to expire in June 2021 before the coronavirus caused football to be suspended.

Also, Coach Mikel Arteta is confident of securing the youngster’s future in a new contract.

‘The club is doing everything possible and talks are ongoing conversations. we’ll get it sort out’, Arteta told The Sun.

Arsenal were hoping to reduce their players wages in order to pay the salaries of non-playing staff Full time despite the crisis across the world.

Arsenal’s deal offer to players for the pay cuts includes a bonus which will see players recoup their lost salaries should they qualify for the Champions League next season and also get another £100,000.

The 12.5% pay cut will be for a whole year starting from April 2020 to March 2021.
