BREAKING! Champions League And Europa League Matches Suspended Until Further Notice!

Football Governing Body UEFA has announced that All Champions League and Europa League games have been suspended “until further notice” because of the coronavirus pandemic, MySportDab reports. 

All national country matches in June have also been postponed, including the play-off games for Euro 2020 which is already postponed until 2021 and also the qualifying games for the Women’s Euro 2021.

The European Governing body’s 55 member associations had a long discussion on Wednesday.

However, The Premier League is still suspended until at least 30 April.

The EURO 2020 play-offs include Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.

Premier League Clubs Manchester City and Chelsea are currently still in the Champions League, while Wolves and Manchester United still in the Europa League.

The finals of the Europa League, Champions League and Women’s Champions League which were scheduled for May have already been postponed.

Another idea being considered is a mini-tournament to decide the Champions League and Europa League is to ease fixture congestion caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

All international game scheduled for June are also now postponed to make way for the completion of the 2019-20 seasons across Europe.

The decision comes as part of the latest UEFA Video conference while took place today (Wednesday).
