Football Legend David Beckham has given his verdict on the Lionel Messi Vs Cristiano Ronaldo debate, MySportDab reports.
Beckham believes that the Barcelona star is the greatest footballer in the world.
The Manchester United Legend further revealed that both superstars are a level above others in Sports but sees Messi as being in a class of his own.
Beckham who played against Messi during his time at Paris Saint-Germain, suggests that it is ‘impossible’ to find any player close to matching the diminutive Argentine’s abilities.
The current president at Inter Miami, enjoyed a great career of his own and won the Premier League, La Liga, Champions League and more.
But both Messi and Ronaldo have dominated world football for over a decade now in Europe and both have a total of 11 Ballon d’Ors between them.
However, Beckham shared his belief that Messi is the best of the game.
‘Messi is alone in his class as a footballer, it is impossible to find another like him,’ Beckham told Argentine Newspaper Telam.
“like Cristiano Ronaldo who is not at Messi’s level, are both above everyone else.’
Beckham is also said to have approach Messi about a shocking transfer for his newly-founded MLS club.
According to The Times, Beckham was hopeful of securing a number of top players to his club, with Messi seen as the biggest of all statements.
