Manchester United players have agreed to give 30 per cent of their wages to help the fight against the coronavirus, MySportDab reports.
Premier League clubs have been attacked for not showing any sign of support in battling the epidemic.
But the Red Devils have now responded, and players agreeing to donate 30 per cent of their salary in order to help hospital and health centres in the region.
Chief Executive Ed Woodward approached Captain Harry Maguire about the idea and the centre-back then spoke with the rest of the squad.
And, in a major boost to the NHS, players were in agreement about making a donation.
Harry Maguire asked all Manchester United players to donate 30% of their salary to charity. The players overwhelmingly support this initiative taken by the captain who had spoken with Ed Woodward on this subject.

Manchester United want to help in the fight against the coronavirus and their donation will see millions injected into the world crisis.
The Professional Footballers Association (PFA) only recently declared that players would not be accepting pay cuts.
But United’s squad have decided to go ahead and donate millions either way, determined to see the crisis end as soon as possible.
Manchester United currently spend the most when it comes to players’ salary, paying a massive £332million every year.
That figure has grown by over £100m in the past three years and the Red Devils have now given back to the public.
Goalkeeper David De Gea is currently United’s highest-earner, with the Spainiard earning £375,000 per week after signing a new deal in September.
MySportDab understands Paul Pogba also receives a massive pay with the Frenchman earning £290,000 a week.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial earn more than £200,000 per week.
