Cristiano Ronaldo was not impressed by Bruno Fernandes’ reaction to his workout challenge on Instagram and even went on to troll his Portugal team-mate on Tuesday, MySportDab reports.
During the weekend, Ronaldo challenged fans to take part in a ‘core crusher’ challenge, which showed that he could do an impressive 142 reps in just 45 seconds.
Fernandes has stormed English football since arriving at Manchester United, but that didn’t stop former Red Devil star Ronaldo from poking a little fun.
Fernandes also tried but could only reach 117 reps in that time and wrote: ‘#NikeLivingRoomCuphM- Week One. 117 abs in 45 seconds. Not bad on a Sunday…’
However, Ronaldo responded on his Instagram story and said: ‘Train your arms instead!’
Ronaldo is known for his impressive workouts, and the 35-year-old still shows off his impressive physique to his 211million Instagram Followers.
The Nike Living Room challenge is an idea being promoted by sports stars in order to encourage indoor exercises during the coronavirus crisis.
MySportDab understands Ronaldo’s total of 142 was beaten by South African runner Caster Semenya who did 176 reps.
According to rumours in Italy today, Ronaldo could be set for a shock return to former club Real Madrid, with Juventus open to a £50million bid for the forward.
