Manchester United are likely to miss out on signing Jadon Sancho if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season, MySportDab reports.
Jadon Sancho is ready to reject a move to Old Trafford if they fail to secure Champions League football despite the Red Devils offering the England international a lucrative £400,000-a-week contract.
Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made Sancho his number no.1 top summer priority as he looks to bolster his attacking ranks.
20-year-old Sancho has impressed again this season and so far has scored 17 goals and provided 19 assists in just 35 matches for the German Bundesliga club.
However, Sancho’s rapid development has attracted the attention of several top European clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
According to The Sun, Given Sancho has several teams to choose from, playing in the Champions League is a very important part for his next club or to remain at Dortmund.
Manchester United hoped they could tempt the 20-year-old winger to Old Trafford by offering him a shocking £400,000-a-week contract.
But, with football suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, Borussia Dortmund are not in any hurry to make a decision on selling one of their key players.
Right now, Manchester United are fifth on the Premier League table and are three points behind Chelsea in fourth with nine league games left.
However, the Red Devils hopes of qualifying for the Champions League could rest on the outcome of Manchester City’s appeal against their two-season European ban from all club competitions.
MySportDab understands Manchester City have already submitted an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport for the ban to be suspended and voided.
If City’s appeal fails, then fifth place in the Premier League would automatically qualify for the Champions League.
Chelsea could be handed a huge boost in the pursuit of Jadon Sancho, who will reject a summer move to Manchester United should they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League, according to reports. pic.twitter.com/9keHz7ZfxX

As for Sancho, Borussia Dortmund are still demanding a high price for him and are only willing to sell for a price in the region of £120million.
