The English Premier League has officially confirmed six positive coronavirus virus cases from clubs after 748 tests were conducted across two days, MySportDab reports.
MySportDab understands the cases come from three Premier League clubs.
Premier League clubs will continue to test players and staffs twice a week to get the 2019/20 season back underway
According to Sky Sports, the test results came from 19 clubs, with one club only conducting its tests yesterday.

A Premier League statement read: “The Premier League can confirm that, on 17 May and 18 May, 748 players and club staffs were tested for the coronavirus. Six people have tested positive from three clubs.
“Players or staff members who tested positive will stay in self-isolation for the next seven days.
“The Premier League will provide all the required information for the purpose of integrity and oversight.
“No specific details will be provided by the Premier League about players, Staffs or clubs due to operational and legal requirements.”
Some Premier League clubs were expected to resume training officially in small groups on Tuesday.
The allows for players to keep social distance while training, although physical contact is still permitted.
The EPL are planning to resume football behind closed doors by June 12, although that date could be pushed back if there are more coronavirus positive cases.
In Germany, the anticipated Bundesliga restarted over the weekend after players were kept in lockdown for seven days.
