Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has revealed that he and those at his house are “okay” despite the “horrible experience” from the robbery, MySportDab reports.
Alli was punched in the face after the robbers broke into his North London home.
The 24-year-old is at home with his girlfriend Ruby Mae, his brother Harry Hickford, his brother’s girlfriend and a friend during the ongoing pandemic.
Despite being punched, Alli did not suffer any serious injury during the incident, which was shown on CCTV and sent to the police for further nvestigation.
The Two men wore balaclavas and robbed Alli of his watches and jewellery just after midnight on Wednesday before leaving the house.
In a post on Twitter after the robbery, Alli wrote: “Thank you for everything. Horrible experience but we’re okay now.”

The London Metropolitan Police have now opened an investigation into the incident.
A Tottenham spokesperson said: “We have offered our support to Dele and those with him.
“We advise anyone with any vital information to help the police on the investigation to come forward.”
Dele Alli returned to Tottenham training this week as Tottenham prepare for the return of the English Premier League next month.
