Juventus have rejected Rakitic and are only interested in taking Arthur as part of their deal for Pjanic, MySportDab reports.

Barcelona offered Ivan Rakitic to Juventus as part of a potential deal which would see Pjanic move to Camp Nou.

MySportDab can confirm that their offer has been rebuffed by the Serie A leaders Juve.

The Catalans are seeking to sign the Bosnia international to the club over the summer.

Pjanic Rakitic

But due to the financial uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic they are seeking to find a solution that involves exchange of players.

Both clubs are looking to find a solution, with Pjanic increasingly close to an exit from the Turin side.

Arthur, who has struggled in his second year in Spain, wishes to continue in La Liga and has rejected a move to the Serie A cIub.

However it is accepted that this stance could change very quickly given the volatile nature of the deal.

The upshot is that this attitude is stifling the deal, while Pjanic to Barcelona remains a transfer that is very much alivea.

As things stand Juventus will only allow the playmaker to depart for Spain only If Arthur comes in return.

Pjanic

Juventus rejected the offer of Rakitic and have no intention of considering the Croatia international.

Juventus have rejected the rumours that an agreement has been reached to sign Nelson Semedo for €25 million plus Pjanic and Matteo De Sciglio.

Barca and Juventus are currently top of their respective leagues, which are due to resume in June after shutdown due to the Covid-19 crisis.
