Lille have now received a bid of £75million for striker Victor Osimhen from an unknown club ahead of this summer, MySportDab reports.
The Nigerian has attracted interest from some top European clubs like Liverpool and Inter Milan.
Reports in France even claimed that Liverpool were ready to pay £60m for Osimhen at the end of the season.
Scouts have been sent to watch Osimhen and his impressed them with his goal scoring ability, speed which he’s shown in the Champions League.
He scored 13 goals in the French Ligue 1 before the season was cancelled and Paris Saint-Germain crowned champions.
It marks a good goal return for Osimhen after a good season in Belgium where he scored 20 goals for RSC Charleroi.
According to MySportDab understands Liverpool are very keen to improve their attacking options at the end of the season among plans to dominate English football.
The Reds could lose both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah next January for over six weeks due to the African Cup Of Nations tournament.
However, Klopp admitted that he will think twice very well before signing African players if they would likely miss a large part of the season due to international football.
That could rule Liverpool out of the race to sign Osimhen.
