Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has triggered rumours of a transfer to Liverpool after speaking about the club again, MySportDab reports.
Mbappe has described Jurgen Klopp’s team as “a machine”.
Liverpool are on track for their first league title in 30 years although things have changed a bit with the coronavirus crisis.
With 27 wins from 29 matches and only one loss, Liverpool have collected 82 points and need just two more wins when the Premier League restarts to be confirmed as Champions.
In 2019, Liverpool won the Champions League and also recorded a club-record 97 points in the Premier League but still missed out on the title to Manchester City.
However, Kylian Mbappe’s future at PSG remain unclear and it appears he would love to work with Jurgen Klopp in the future.
“Liverpool have been a machine in the English Premier League,” Mbappe said.
“They make winning games look easy, but the truth is that it’s never easy.
“To be ruthless as they are comes from having a very good Coach and lots of hard work.
“Performances like they have provided us don’t just happen.”
Liverpool’s performances over the last two years have caught the eye of Mbappe, who is still linked with a move to Anfield.
The 21-year-old has scored 117 goals and provided 66 assists in 181 matches for PSG and Monaco but he is yet to sign a new contract.
Klopp and Liverpool tried to sign him three years ago with the former Borussia Dortmund Coach even speaking with the youngster about a move to the Premier League.
Liverpool are one of top clubs who might still be able to sign Mbappe this summer or in the coming years.
