Manchester United midfielder Paul Paul Pogba and some of his team-mates stepped up their training on Thursday at a cricket club in Cheshire, MySportDab reports.

The France star first took part in training drills alongside Victor Lindelof, Anthony Martial and Andreas Pereira in a Cheshire field on Tuesday.

However, On Thursday, Pogba was joined by Lindelof and Pereira again on Thursday to continue training ahead of the Premier League restart.

In Tuesday’s session, the four United stars took part in exercises, dribbling and passing drills.

MySportDab understands ball control with feet as well as physical fitness was again on the agenda on Thursday.

Pogba who wore a lose top, has been linked with leaving  Old Trafford this summer, but is working on building his fitness up just in time.

On Thursday, Anthony Martial was not present for the training session.

The Manchester United players’ second session this week comes despite fears that the Premier League’s Project Restart is now racing against time, with kick-off set to be moved back to June 19.

This came after video call meetings with Premier League captains and coaches on Wednesday, where many raised concerns over the quick return to training and to playing matches.

The Premier League Coaches are said to have questioned whether their teams would be ready for a return to action on June 12, expressing their concerns over their players’ fitness.

MySportDab understands the earliest date for fully team training resumption is June 1, which lead several coaches to say that the time frame between training and a restart are too close.

Resume training on June 1st and to play on June 12, after nine or 10 days training, is not acceptable.

Another issue which is players breaking down was also discussed and so June 19 was considered as a more realistic football return date.
