Lille Striker Victor Osimhen agent has confirmed that Tottenham and Newcastle are among clubs that have shown interest in the Nigerian, MySportDab reports.
After Lille sold Nicolas Pepe to Arsenal for £72million in 2019 and they used the funds to sign Osimhen from Belgian side Charleroi.
And that decision has paid off, with Osimhen scoring 18 goals across all competitions this campaign.
MySportDab understands his performances have attracted interest from top European clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Napoli and Tottenham in recent months.
However, Osimhen’s agent Ariyo Igbayilola has revealed that Newcastle are also interested.
“I can tell you that Napoli are the club that wants Victor 100% right now,” he told Nigerian Newspaper The Cable.
“But the decision on if he wants to join them is upto him. Also, Newcastle have shown interest just like Tottenham. But It’s simply an interest. No real commitment.
“I believe that with the pressure from various clubs in Europe, I don’t think Osimhen will stay at Lille in the coming season.”
Osimhen is a very close friend of Nigeria teammate and on-loan Manchester United Star Odion Ighalo.
