OMG! Premier League Matches Set To GO Live On YouTube For FREE

Some Premier League matches could now be shown for free out of remaining 92 games of the 2019/20 season live on YouTube, MySportDab reports.

Sky Sports, Amazon and BT Sports are in talks on how to broadcast the remaining matches of the season, which has been suspended since Match.

With matches set to be played behind closed doors from the June 8 restart date, all 92 remaining Premier League matches are going to be available live on TV.

According to The Sun, proposals involve some of those Premier League matches being available for free to watch on YouTube for football fans.

Premier League Coaches are desperate to complete the season so as to avoid different issues from revenue, broadcasting deals e.t.c.

However, among the 92 fixtures left to be played, BBC Sports might be allowed to show match highlights more frequently.

47 of the Premier League matches left were already scheduled to be live and most would be on Sky after a previous agreement.

The other 45 matches will be divided between Amazon, BT Sport and Sky.

A source said: “The plan is to make all the games available to watch as there would be no fans at stadiums and YouTube is a platform being considered to show some games free. Amazon would get to broadcast some games because they are a live broadcast licence holder.

“Both BT and Sky will be unhappy if the Premier League decides to scrap relegation. There are always great relegation battles close to the end of the season which brings more fun.

“E.g Norwich still have games still to play against the likes of Brighton, Watford and West Ham. If there will be no relegation then the matches are meaningless.”

A final decision on how many matches will be broadcasted for free via YouTube, or other platforms, will be discussed after talks between broadcasters and the government.
