Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta has admitted that “everything” went wrong from the start in their 3-0 defeat at Manchester City but refused to blame David Luiz for his mistakes, MySportDab reports.
On their first match in the Premier League restart after three months away, the Gunners were thrashed by last seasons Premier League champions.

David Luiz, who came on as a substitute to replace injured Pablo Mari, caused the first two goals, scored by Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne, from the penalty.
The Brazilian caused a penalty for the second goal ad was sent off by the referee.
It go worse as Phil Foden scored the third goal for Pep Guardiola’s team to seal another 3-0 win over Arsenal.
But, Arteta lost two players to injury in Granit Xhaka and Pablo Mari, they were both taken off within the first 25 minutes.
The 3-0 defeat means that Arsenal have very little chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

However, Arteta said a lot went wrong during the match.
He said: “Everything went wrong from the start when Xhaka got injured and we needed to change the plan.
“Every possible wrong thing that could have happened did happen today, but this can’t happen in the remaining 10 games that we have left.”

On the positives from the match, the Spaniard added: “The spirit that the boys showed not to give up even when everything goes against you.
“We had good moments in the first half, good chances, and we had three or four counter attack opportunities where we could have hurt them.
“We stayed in the match and then City scored before half time.”
David Luiz is under contract at Arsenal for the next two weeks and if his contract is not extended, that would be his last match for the Gunners.
