Juventus have agreed a shocking £72.5million fee with Barcelona to sign midfielder Arthur in the summer transfer window, MySportDab reports.
Arthur signed for Barcelona from Gremio in his country Brazil for £28m, and has played 70 matches for the La Liga club in two seasons.
According to Sky Sports, Barcelona and Juventus have already agreed a fee but the 23-year-old wants to stay and fight for his place at Barca.
Barcelona are in need of cash and want to sell Arthur in the summer.
MySportDab understands that Juventus Coach Maurizio Sarri wants to build his squad around the Brazilian next season.
Juventus have also offered Arthur a huge wage increase reaching around £4.5m per year.
Right now, sources have confirmed that Arthur will play for Barcelona in tonight’s huge clash against Athletic Bilbao.
However, Barcelona are also interested in Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Sky Sports Italy claim that Juve want around £63.4m, but Barcelona do not feel he is worth that much.
Some Barcelona’s first-team players are expected to be sold in the summer, with the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Ousmane Dembele, Philippe Coutinho and Nelson Semedo all listed on the transfer market.
