Cristiano Ronaldo is no.1 on this Instagram list during the coronavirus lockdown, earning a lot from sponsored posts.
A new research has shown that athletes earned the most money during the lockdown between March 12 to May 14.
According to Attain database, which shows how much money athletes have earned via sponsored posts on Instagram.
The new research also shows that every follower on Instagram is worth £0.00313, The Social media network has become a source of reliable income for celebrities around the world.
Juventus star Ronaldo is understood to have earned a shocking £1.9m over the two month lockdown period.
The Portuguese superstar has 219 million Instagram followers at the time of the research and earned the highest at an estimated £470,584 per sponsored post.
Barcelona rival Lionel Messi is close in second, earning around £1.3m from his four sponsored posts.
PSG Star Neymar is third on the list and earned an estimated £1.2m.
Three other footballers on the list include Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Dani Alves and former player David Beckham.
