First Half Report
The first half provided a goalless affair as both sides were unable to break down each other.
Juventus had many more opportunities to score than the home side Genoa who had few.
Cristiano Ronaldo was the star man once again as his new look stole the show coupled with his chances.
No goal came after the end of the first 45 minutes before both teams couldn’t capitalize on their chances.
Second Half Report
The second 45 minutes provided 4 goals which Juventus got 3 and Genoa scored 1 goal.
Cristiano Ronaldo alongside Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa all found target for Juve.
While Pinamonti got the consolation goal for the home side who merely gave their opponent much competition.
It took Juventus the 50th minute to record their first goal as Paulo Dybala put them ahead with an assist from Cuadrado.
The second goal came in the 56th minute from Cristiano Ronaldo with fine setup by Pjanic to make it 2-0.
Douglas Costa net the third goal for Juventus on the 73rd minute thanks to an assist from Paulo Dybala.
Genoa were able to get a late consolation goal from Pinamonti who scored in the 77th minute.
