Borussia Dortmund expect winger Jadon Sancho to stay at the club beyond this summer as they refuse to accept any bid less than £100m, MySportDab reports.

Borussia Dortmund executive Sebastian Kehl full believes Jadon Sancho will stay at the Bundesliga club despite interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.

Jadon Sancho remains Manchester United’s no.1 transfer target but Borussia Dortmund won’t reduce their £100m Price-tag.

Chelsea have also monitored the 20-year-old’s situation and could try to sign him should his price tag be dropped.

A Premier League return appears likely for Jadon Sancho as he wants to return back to the UK.

However, Dortmund executive Kehl thinks Sancho may have to wait another one year before leaving the Bundesliga.

“We expect Jadon to stay with us for next season,” Kehl said before Dortmund’s match against Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday.

United are doing everything possible to convince their German counterparts to lower the fee.

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to strengthen his squad and wants a new defensive partner for Harry Maguire and a midfielder.

However, England Coach Gareth Southgate says that he will be happy whatever Sancho chooses.

‘The key is to play football always,’ said Southgate.

‘The joy of playing at Dortmund is that he plays frequently and he’s playing in a young team expected to hit a certain level.

‘Before the lockdown, that was in front of 80,000 fans every week with the Champions League football pressure, and also challenging Bayern Munich all the way for the title.’
