Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had mixed emotions on Friday as his team lost one and won the second of their two friendlies against West Brom, MySportDab reports.
Solksjaer was keen for his squad to get a some run-out after their friendly against Stoke City was called off earlier this week.
Manchester United 1-2 West Brom (1st Match)
United, started the first West Brom match with Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba in midfield for the first game.
Bruno Fernandes continued his great form and scored again.
However, a determined West Brom team, hit back with two late goals from Matt Phillips and striker Kenneth Zohore to seal a 2-1 win.
Coach Solskjaer selected two strong teams at Old Trafford as United played two games with the first game starting around 1pm and the other two hours later.
Manchester United Star Marcus Rashford showed signs he is ready for the Premier League as he played with Anthony Martial in attack.
Manchester United 3-1 West Brom (2nd Match)
Striker Odion Ighalo led the United attack in the second match.
Surprisingly, midfielder Andreas Pereira gave United the teal after scoring twice before Kyle Edwards scored for West Brom.
However, A late mistake from West Brom Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone gave substitute Tahith Chong the opportunity to score and he delivered to make it 3-1 for United.
The footballs were disinfected, no ball boys and there were also water breaks.
Manchester United players were also given food to take away home after the friendly.
