Bayern Munich Striker Robert Lewandowski has been named the Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2019-20 campaign, MySportDab reports.
In the 2019/20 season, Lewandowski set a new record for most goals scored by a non-German player in a single Bundesliga season.
He has scored 33 goals and provided 4 assists in 30 matches.
Lewandowski has now reached the 40-goal record in five successive Bundesliga seasons.
He is up to 30 goals again in the German Bundesliga this term, which represents his third time to reach that tally.
The Poland international scored in their first 11 matches of this Bundesliga season, a new league record.
Lewandowski won the award ahead of fellow Bundesliga players like Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho, Serge Gnabry, Werner, Amine Harit, and Kai Havertz.
Only German Legend Gerd Muller can be regarded as better than Lewandowski in the Bundesliga history.
