Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has told the club that he wants to leave after another Bust-up with Coach Mikel Arteta, MySportDab reports.
Guendouzi was not included in the squad to face Southampton on Thursday after his heated argument with Brighton striker Neal Maupay on Saturday.
Now, According to French Newspaper L’Equipe, Guendouzi has informed Arsenal that he is ready to leave this summer.
The 21-year-old has also been in contact with the likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, PSG and Inter Milan about a potential transfer.
On Thursday, Coach Mikel Arteta said the situation was ‘internal’ and Guendouzi being left out was just squad management.
“Any internal issue we have, we handle it privately,” he said.
“The needs of the football club and team remain the same, put the right players on the pitch that are absolutely focused to win the match.”
But now it looks like Guendouzi could leave Arsenal this summer.
Earlier this season, Guendouzi also clashed with Arteta after being dropped for a Newcastle match.
And his new outburst could ensure his exit this summer.
Arteta’s team have bounced back from two defeats to secure a 2-0 win over Southampton without Guendouzi in the team.
Dani Ceballos and Granit Xhaka played in the middle yesterday with youngster Joe Willock and Ainsley Maitland-Niles coming on as substitutes.
Arsenal play next on Sunday against Sheffield United in the FA Cup.
