Bournemouth have accepted a £41m bid from Manchester City for defender Nathan Ake, MySportDab reports.
The 25-year-old will now discuss personal terms with the Citizens and a deal is expected to be announced in the coming days.
Manchester City are happy to get their business done quick as they have already secured a deal for Valencia winger Ferran Torres.
Ake was one of Bournemouth’s best players since his loan move from Chelsea was made permanent in 2017.
He signed for the south coast in a club record £20m deal but Bournemouth will now earn double the amount they paid.
According to Sky Sports, Talks between both clubs had started before the Premier League season ended.
Central defence is a key area Coach Pep Guardiola wants to strengthen his squad since losing Vincent Kompany last season.
However, Ake now looks like a long-term partner for defender Aymeric Laporte at Manchester City.

The transfer window remains open until October 5 but with the 2020-21 season starts on September 12.
