Chelsea And Bayer Leverkusen Starts Kai Havertz Negotiations After Agreeing Personal Terms

Chelsea and Leverkusen are into negotiation for a fee for Kai Havertz who already agreed personal terms with Frank Lampard side, MySportDab reports.

Chelsea are in contract talks with Leverkusen star Kai Havertz but the Blues are yet to have agreed a fee with his club.

Peter Bosz’ men missed out on qualification for the Champions League group stage for next season.

According to reports, it accelerating the Germany international’s desire to leave in the near future.

Leverkusen were open to selling the 21 year old for €100 million and nothing less but Chelsea are ready to dish out £76m.

MySportDab has learned that Chelsea are keen to negotiate a lower fee of around €76m and it unclear when agreements will be reached.

The Blues are in a strong position to sign Havertz, with no other teams currently in talks to land the midfielder.

The player is also interested in joining the Stamford Bridge side who are third on the league table.

Chelsea need just one win from their final two league games to seal Champions League football for next season.

It is understood that Havertz would still join the Blues even if they don’t seal a place in Europe’s competition.

Havertz scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions this season for Leverkusen.

Recently Chelsea boss Frank Lampard having publicly referred to him as a “top player”.
