UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that fans could return to stadiums for Matches from October if pilot events are successful, MySportDab reports.
Sports matches have resumed without crowds in stadiums since March due to the risk of spreading coronavirus.
However, Boris Johnson has layed down plans to allow fans back in stadiums in October.
Johnson said: ‘From October we plan to allow fans back in stadiums.
‘In a secured way subject to the successful result of pilots.’
MySportDab understands that the first month of the 2020-21 season will be played behind closed doors, with fans later allowed back.
According to Sky Sports, Premier League clubs have informed fans they’ll be able to attend matches from early next season.

A Pilot event is a program by the UK which allows a limited number of fans into stadiums with social distancing observed.
This could begin as early as October.
Premier League clubs are already talking with fans to know their opinion on a return to stadiums.
The arrival and exit of fans is a big issue as clubs look to maintain safety measures for games.
Premier League Clubs are also exploring the option of issuing standard arrival and departure times for fans during the first phase of them being allowed back into stadiums.
Other sports in the UK to happen behind closed doors include Cricket matches between England and West Indies, horse racing, and snooker tournaments at Milton Keynes.
