Chelsea narrowly recorded a 1-0 victory over relegated Norwich City as Olivier Giroud scored in the first half thanks to assist from Pulisic, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first 45 minutes was a boring encounter but Chelsea managed to score one goal against Norwich City.
It was the Blues who controlled play during the whole 45 minutes but failed to hit the target on many occasions.
Marcos Alonso had an opportunity to get a goal as he tried going for glory but his strike was wide of goal.
The game went on with Chelsea in full control while narrowly escaped conceding in the first half.
Soon Olivier Giroud hit the target after Christian Pulisic took matters into his hands and delivered a cross which resulted in the goal.
It ended first half Chelsea 1-0 Norwich City as Frank Lampard went for the break with an advantage.
Second Half Report
The second 45 minutes was more or less the same as the first which saw the home side control and unable to convert.
Todd Cantwell threatened the Blues as he was the only lively player from the away side who are already relegated.
Willian almost made it count in 52nd minute as he tried a long range strike which was deflected for a corner.
Chelsea and Norwich played on as both sides couldn’t change the situation of the game.
