Bayern Munich Star Thiago Alcantara has agreed personal terms with Liverpool After Jurgen Klopp approved the transfer, MySportDab reports.
According to German Newspaper BILD, Bayern Munich want £36m for the midfielder, but Liverpool are only ready to pay £18m.
Liverpool are now close to completing their first deal for the summer transfer window.
After adopting a cautious deal to transfers over the last two years, Liverpool have saved money and still won the Champions League and Premier League so far.
They last spend over £100m in 2018 to sign both Alisson Becker and Fabinho and pulled out a signing Timo Werner.
However, The Reds are now ready to spend as Thiago is ready to sign for them.
Thiago Alcantara has told Bayern Munich that he won’t renew his contract.
Having playing with the club for seven years, he has decided for a new challenge.
He still has a year left on his current contract, but Bayern are not willing to lose him for free.
MySportDab understands that Liverpool are the frontrunners to sign him, with the player desperate to sign for the European champions.
The Bundesliga champions want £36m, but Liverpool have offered only £18m.
