Man Utd Coach Solskjaer Warns Goalkeeper David De Gea After Chelsea Poor Show

Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sent a strong warning message to David De Gea, MySportDab reports.

The Norwegian has told goalkeeper David De Gea that he should have stopped Mason Mount’s shot during their 3-1 FA Cup semi-final defeat Vs Chelsea.

De Gea made some high-profile errors during the match and it got worse against Chelsea yesterday.

The Spaniard was also blamed for Olivier Giroud’s opening goal as the ball entered at the near post.

Another poor mistake in the second half saw Mount’s poor shot from 25-yard go into the net.

From then on, it was a difficult task for United and they ended the match with a 3-1 defeat.

However, Solskjaer has defended his decision to start De Gea instead of Sergio Romero.

But, the Norwegian showed his disappointment at De Gea for Mount’s goal.

“You always question my decisions,” Solskjaer said.

“I can’t talk about David de Gea’s confidence but he is very strong mentally.

“He is aware he should save that 100 times out of 100 but that’s how football is for you. It was my decision to play him and he was ready for it.

“You study Olivier Giroud’s movement, you know he moves close to the near post and we should done better.

“We were too late in those situations and the second goal could have been avoided.”

Chelsea and Arsenal will not play in the English FA Cup final.
